First Day Of Kindergarten

                                               
Hollis started kindergarten today.  He is in Mrs. Edwards class and the assistant is Mrs. Sisk.  He is going to Brookside with his mom.  He had a great day and has already made a new friend!  We are so proud of him and cannot believe how fast time has gone by.  When he was asked if he learned anything today, he said, "I don't really know....No. No we didn't."

Summer At Grandma and Papa's House

This summer was definitely a lot of fun.  We went to Disneyland and Everett really enjoyed his first trip. Hollis rode the new Star Tours and even went on Indiana Jones.  We made two trips to the zoo and saw all of our favorite animals.  We went bike riding at Santee Lakes and Lake Murray and even rode on a pedal boat.  We rode the trolley to go have lunch with Phil.  We got to hang out with Uncle Tim, Aunt Linda and Josh for  couple of days.  Josh camped outside on the deck with Hollis.  What a nice cousin!  We all went to the beach and then wandered around the Hotel Del Coronado and Old Town.  Most of our time was spent swimming in the pool and Hollis learned how to swim.  We really enjoyed getting to spend time with family, but now it is back to work and school.

TBall Banquet

Hollis' banquet was at the Gastonia Grizzlies Baseball game. He got all of the players autographs and it was the first baseball game that he had ever been to. Despite it being really hot, we all had a lot of fun. Most importantly, Hollis received his very first trophy!

We can't wait to sign up for TBall next season.

Hollis' Graduation

Hollis' daycare had a graduation ceremony for the kids who will be entering kindergarten next fall. They sang four songs, then each child talked about what they wanted to be when they grew up. Hollis said he wanted to be a treasure man. Not sure exactly what that is, but if there is treasure involved, it sounds good to me.

T ball

T-Ball is over now, but we had a good time while it lasted. Hollis has gotten really good at hitting and catching. However, we still need more practice running to the bases. Everett slept through every game except the last one. We have to wait a couple of weeks for the banquet and Hollis is very excited about getting a trophy.

Mother's Day

Everett enjoyed his very first trip to the mountain house. It was a nice way to spend Mother's Day and spend time with family. Hollis played with the fire and Everett was fascinated by the dogs.

Easter

What a wonderful Easter. We went to Auntie's house for Easter while Daddy stayed home. Everett enjoyed his very first airplane ride and Hollis helped me so much in the airport and on the plane. At Auntie's house we jumped on the trampoline, dyed and hunted eggs, smashed cascarones, went to a dinosaur park, went swimming and had a great time with Auntie, Uncle Mike and Lily.

Everett's First Haircut

We went to Great Clips for Everett's first haircut. He is barely 6 months old, but he really needs one. After the trim his hair was even more blonde than it already was.

Hollis Turned 5!!

Hollis had a Play-Doh party for his 5th birthday. Uncle Tim, Aunt Linda, Paul and Josh drove down to help us celebrate. The kids had a lot of fun playing with the Play-Doh and the teenagers did too. I can't believe he is already five!
